UTMB Aerospace Medicine Collection Flying High


As a new era of commercial space travel approaches, the archives of UTMB offer an intriguing look at America's early space program.

An extensive collection of papers, magazines and articles chronicling the development of space travel and medicine is available for viewing at the Moody Medical Library's Charles A. Berry, MD Space Medicine Collection.



Seibel Foundation Gives $3 million for Student Center


The Abe and Annie Seibel Foundation has generously given $3 million to UTMB to establish a student center in the new Jennie Sealy Hospital, which is scheduled to open in 2016.

To be located on the fifth floor of the new hospital, this center will feature classrooms, individual and collaborative workstations and on-call rooms for residents.
